Paul takes Gold for the UK
In more good news, Paul, our L'Enclume head chef, has been named the UK winner of the 'Le Taittinger' International Culinary Prize.
In order to win this prestigious accolade, Paul had to compete against some of the best chefs in the country. Each UK candidate submitted recipe concepts with photographs and the story of their inspiration to a panel of judges, including André Garrett, Steve Groves, Mark Flannagan, Pascal Aussignac and Michel Roux.
As the winner of this round, Paul will go on to face the national champions from Belgium, France, Japan, the Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland and the USA in 2023.
