Meet Adam Frickel, our new Head Grower at Our Farm!
Adam's first experience with the Simon Rogan family was on a week-long placement in the L'Enclume kitchen whilst he was working at the Castle Green Hotel in Kendal. His week at L'Enclume inspired him to work more closely with nature, leading him to a chef/grower role at The Forest Side. Here, he discovered his passion for growing and working in the elements, transitioning from the kitchen to growing full-time.
Just over six years ago, Adam moved to Our Farm, where he learnt different growing techniques and the nuance of each season, and worked closely with our chefs to cultivate near-perfect produce.
We are immensely proud of Adam and couldn't be more excited to have his expertise guiding our growing program. Seeing him receive the recognition he has worked so hard for is very special.
